Ah, Blue Seed. An underrated anime which had the grave misfortune to be released by ADV almost concurrently with Evangelion and...well, the results weren't pretty. But luckily, all you out there underprivileged enough to be unfamiliar with this series can now rectify this sad situation, especially since ADV's released the DVDs, which pack the entire series and its hilarious "Omake Theatre" segments onto four discs, very economical considering I paid as much for each of the tapes as those DVDs cost, and THEY only had TWO episodes each and for that ADV must PERISH and I will see them all DROWN IN FLAMES and...

Ahem. Excuse me, I get a little carried away sometimes. In any case, the point is, Blue Seed is a good series and you should buy the DVDs, because I told you to. If you buy enough, maybe they'll finally license Blue Seed II!

But if you do, for god's sake don't come back with the comment: "The animation is quite nice, if of course somewhat dated." The series is from -1995-, people! That's not "dated". Macross, THAT'S dated! Urusei Yatsura, THAT'S dated! NOT SERIES' FROM THE LAST DECADE! THE MORONIC ANIMEONDVD.COM REVIEWERS WILL PERISH AND I WILL SEE THEM ALL DROWN IN FLAMES AND...
