What is GRIT, you might ask? Well, GRIT stands for Global Ranma Insanity Thread, an ongoing roleplaying-interactive fanfic that has been cheerfully taking up bandwidth on first rec.arts.anime and now rec.arts.anime.misc for several years now. Interested? Find out more about GRIT at this site.
Blade and Epsilon terrorized GRIT for about two and a half years before departing in August of 1999. Blade was later lured to return during a moment of weakness. Epsilon has resisted the siren call, but Blade, being a good Judas, has betrayed him at every turn and done his best to drag him back into the fold. The following is some side stories (also called "GRITfics") and thread compilations we accumulated during our time there.

New Beginnings
This fic was supposed to be the start of a plot movement leading towards the "kinder, gentler" Tom Tarou. It contained defining character-type turnpoints. It had insights into his motives and past. It gave him an adorable kid sister sidekick. But we don't like the "kinder, gentler" Tarou. So the primary reason you should read this is to know exactly how much we are going to screw with Tarou by using the stuff in here against him. Enjoy.

Decisions
This fic contains the introduction of a major new GRIT character. The addition of major new powers to Blade. The turning point in one of GRIT's oldest relationships. It contains so much...but lets face it, the only reason you're going to read this is for the sexxx0rz. Little do they realize that there are no explicit scenes and we shall therefore trick them into reading character-defining stuff! MWAHA!

Exodus
When we left GRIT, we left with a fairly large pile of characters and plotlines on our plate; for the benefit of those left behind, we detailed our evil schemes and our characters' various neurotic delusions. If we hadn't already left, we probably would've been kicked out for it. Enjoy.

End of An Era, Compiled
The compiled end of the epic battle between Ranma and Tarou, including a recap and character guide for non-GRIT readers.

The Opera
When Ryuu Kumon is taking Tsubasa Kurenai to see an opera, you know things are weird. They get a
lot weirder when we start ripping off..er...paying homage to Alan Harnum.
