Goenitz is one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi, and a master of elemental wind. It is unknown exactly how long ago Goenitz embraced his destiny to serve the Orochi, or what he was doing before his sudden tragic attack on the Clan of Yata six years ago. However, at that time, he succeeded in defeating the then-guardian of the Orochi's seal, Maki Kagura, and paved the way for his dread god to return to the world.
Since then, Goenitz has bided his time, allowing the Orochi to grow in strength. He amuses himself by playing with the lives of ambitious men like Rugal Bernstein, but otherwise keeps a low profile and works to secure the eventual true resurrection of his god.
Goenitz often appears to be an urbane gentleman. He prefers to retain his calm at all times. Only when he is ready and willing to unleash his full power does this demeanor fade and the true face of Goenitz come into play. Goenitz is a religious zealot of the most dangerous sort: one ready, willing and able to die for his cause. He views himself as above the concerns of normal humans, and looks upon modern society in all its forms as corrupt and unworthy of sharing the same Earth with his god. He prefers to play with those he sees as his lessers (ie, everyone) and will often dish out ironic "rewards" or purposefully goad those he believes to be no threat to him into greater and more foolish acts of heroism. Goenitz takes great amusement in humanity's struggles, much like he would watching two ant colonies fighting each other.
Goenitz's power is awesome to behold. He has almost total mastery over the element of air. When he uses his power, it can be felt as a cold and demonic wind rising in the air even by the most spiritually blind. Goenitz can shatter buildings with a single strike, blow away entire formations of fighters, and summon hurricane-force winds and tornados. He can generate waves of wind with such precision they shear through metal and stone. He is also physically strong, as fast and nimble as his element and amazingly resistant to damage. In short, Goenitz is not so much a fighter as a force of nature.
