Remy

Remy's father was a martial artist who abandoned his family to go out into the world and seek his calling as a "true warrior". What happened to Remy's mother was unknown, but after that, he was left with only his older sister in the world. Because of what his father did, Remy grew up with an intense hatred for fighting and martial artists. Oddly, this didn't stop him from becoming one himself, likely due to the fact Remy wanted to find his father and get revenge.

The only person in the world he was close to was his sister, and when she died of unknown causes, Remy's already fragile mind nearly snapped. Refusing to admit she was truly dead, for years he kept her body frozen and talked to her frequently. Eventually, the young fighter did realise it was time to let go, though only reluctantly, and has begun to rejoin the world of the living.

Remy is a quiet young man with a hidden core of steel. He is loathe to get too close to people due to his past, and has a strong distrust of fighters who only seek power, but he is not truly a bad person. In a crisis he is likely to leap into action to protect the innocent, though perhaps only with a heartfelt sigh, and he might have to compose a poem afterwards to bemoan the ongoing decay of his soul.

As a fighter, Remy's power is hard to properly gauge against other fighters, but it is considerable. He knows powerful chi techniques that are likely of his own design, and his fighting style is elegant, fluid and graceful.
