In an unknown time, and an unknown place, four young girls accidentally found a mirror in a lake, and awoke the evil that had been sealed within it in ages past. As a token of gratitude, the being within the mirror, the dark queen Nehelenia, granted the four girls magical Amazon Stones that would let them stay young forever. And in turn, the four girls, newly dubbed the Amazoness Quartet, became Nehelenia's loyal servants. In the unknown span of time since then, the four have dwelled in Neherenia's realm, the Dead Moon Circus, amusing themselves and refusing to grow up.

VesVes is the unofficial leader of the Quartet, as much as the four can even have a leader. Her personality could best be described as mercurial. Easily amused and easily angered, VesVes is the first of them to act rashly, without thought for the consequences of her actions. She chafes under any sort of authority, aggressively testing any limits imposed on her. Not really malicious, VesVes nonetheless cannot be considered compassionate, either. She goes wherever mood and whim lead her, and is able to dish out laughter or rage with equal unexpectedness.

Like the others in the Amazoness Quartet, VesVes very much enjoys the freedom and lack of responsibility of being a child, and finds it inexplicable that anyone would want to give up their childhood dreams by becoming an adult.

As the self-described "beast tamer" of the four, VesVes carries a whip, although she rarely uses it as a weapon. In sheer power, she is probably the most formidible of the Quartet. She enjoys commanding animals to attack her foes, but just as often, she will attack directly using her Amazon Stone. She also can use her stone to fly or to effect a swift escape via teleportation. Like the rest of the Quartet, she can also knock out a foe's Dream Mirror (the representation of all their dreams), which she accomplishes by using a pool stick to knock the Amazon Stone at the opponent like a billiard ball. She is extremely fast and athletic, and can change her appearance at a whim.
