Blade: (flat look) Let's not overdo it. The stuff isn't that bad.
Epsilon: But this is stuff we wrote over a year ago! A WHOLE YEAR! Do you realise what utter hacks we were back then?
(Blade: Umm, please note that this rant was written when this was actually true, as opposed to now, when they are in some cases six years old or more. Oh my god, what happened to the flower of our youth!?
Epsilon: It turned out to be a weed. Back to our regularly-scheduled rant.)
Blade: As opposed to the hacks we are now?
Epsilon: Hey, I'm trying to distance us from our evil past.
Blade: As opposed to our evil present?
Epsilon: But if people read this, they'll get a misinformed opinion of our writing styles!
Blade: As opposed to the accurate and nonjudgemental opinions people hold of us now?
Random Fanboy: Hey, it's a Blade and Epsilon fanfic! "Pantyhose Tarou Tortures Ranma to Death With White-Hot Rail Spikes!"
Epsilon: ...what the hell. At least I don't have to do any more work on these.
Blade: At least until we rewrite and complete them all.
Epsilon: Whatever gave you that idea?
Blade: The fact that I will wreak terrible vengeance upon you if you don't?
Epsilon: ...
Blade: Good boy. Anyway, for those confused, this section is a bunch of one-shots, incomplete series', and other miscellaneous...
Epsilon: ...crap...
Blade: (hit Epsilon with bokken) ...writing that we've done over the years. So if you really want to see some of our early work, or if you're completely obsessed with us and must read everything our inimitable genius has touched (in which case you should bear in mind that we're trying to get some novels published, and donations are welcome), then this is the place to go. Enjoy!
Ranma: The Kyoto Chronicles
This is one of our best works, if you ignore the fact that we completely disregarded Ranma canon and characterisation to produce it. It has original Takahashiesque characters and situations, an interesting plotline, exciting fight scenes, and one of the best villains ever, as measured in terms of how many readers wrote us asking for him to be viciously tortured to death by rabid weasels.
We still like it a lot, except for hating it because it ignores canon and characterisation. We're like that. If we can ever find a way to rewrite chapter 1 to actually make sense with regards to the series and yet still end up basically at chapter 2, then we'll probably continue it. It's a pity that's more or less impossible, isn't it?
Ukyou: Affairs of the Heart
Ukyou Kuonji has spent most of her life yearning after Ranma Saotome, but is he really the key to her happiness? A six-part series, currently on hiatus pending resolution of other projects, some conceptual reworking, and oh yes, the sun rising in the west. On the other hand, it contains an extremely fun and entertaining usage of Tsubasa hampered only slightly by the fact that his character resembles the actual Ranma character "Tsubasa Kurenai" in name only. Oddly, our characterisation was extremely popular for awhile, and we do not pretend to understand why.
Final Regrets
Can you figure out the identity of the mysterious mourner in this short piece? Here's a hint: it was written by Blade. This is up here for completeness (although Ranma: Love Potion #9 and Ranma High School will never see the light of day, for which you should all be profoundly grateful) and also as a point of interest, as this was both our first "dark" work, as well as being the first to showcase one of our unusual characterisation theories. There was an almost-complete continuation...this will also never see the light of day, for which you should also be profoundly grateful.
