Another neat thing about Tarou is that he wasn't limited by his original gimmick; he doesn't interact with Happousai or have any plans about getting his name changed in the Rouge story. The fact he and Ranma have such a great mutual hate relationship (without all that underlying respect nonsense) is also fun as hell.
