Aside from having Tsubasa around (and, oddly enough, basically no Ukyou besides a background cameo), one thing I actually ended up liking about this game was the plot was refreshingly unstereotypical for the anime; that is, it ends up with Ranma being kidnapped to become someone's bride, and Akane (and Shampoo) have to go save him. She actually more or less does, too! It was a nice change of pace from the usual, to be sure. Not that Ranma is a completely hapless victim by any means, but Akane is actually a main character too.
It's a pity the villain is... y'know, lame. Plus there's some character bloat. But oh well!
