As easy as it would be merely to rant on about the niftyness that is Sakura-chan herself, I think I'll let the pictures speak for her in that area and address another topic: her voice.

I'm not a sub purist, so all those in the audience who are will probably be offended to hear the following: if you're not watching Blue Seed in English, you're missing out on the better version of the show, and Sakura is a good illustration of one reason why. If a character is a sassy American, the Japanese way of showing this is to throw a lot of random English into their dialogue. Which is all well and good, I suppose, if one is Japanese...but if one is English-speaking, a much more effective portrayal of a sassy American can be obtained via the very exciting concept of having the character TALK like a sassy American.

And don't even get me started on Kusanagi's voice, or the omake theatre humour levels, or the funky-cool effects they put on Murakumo, or...
